December 5, 2011 - AEEC was recognized and listed on Deloitte's Technology FAST 500 list, as one of the top 500 fastest growing technology firm in North America. Mr. Raj Patil, CEO of AEEC was invited for the NASDAQ Bell Closing Ceremony in New York City.

October 17, 2011 - AEEC is a participant in the GSA's Federal Supplier Greenhouse Gas Emissions Inventory Pilot. AEEC completed the base year of the U.S. EPA and U.S. GSA Federal Supplier Greenhouse Gas Emissions Inventory Pilot and committed to reducing our impact on the global environment by establishing a greenhouse gas emissions reduction goal of 2%. AEEC was recognized for these efforts by Ms. Maleka Green from GSA's FSA with the following comments:
"Congratulations! You made it through the first year of the pilot. We registered 85 companies and your company is one of 46 that made it to the finish line."
The GreenGov Supply Chain Partnership is a voluntary, GSA pilot program to promote clean energy and cut waste and pollution in the federal supply chain using greenhouse gas emissions as a measurement. The U.S. General Services Administration GreenGov Supply Chain Partnership and Small Business Pilot, is a voluntary collaboration between the federal government and its suppliers to create a greener, more efficient supply chain. The program was announced at a supply chain summit in Chicago in 2010 hosted by White House Council on Environmental Quality Ms. Chair Nancy Sutley and GSA Administrator Ms. Martha Johnson. Federal suppliers that joined the GreenGov Supply Chain Partnership agree to voluntarily measure and report their organization's greenhouse gas emissions. Participating companies share their experiences to help GSA develop a phased, incentive-based approach to developing contracting advantages to companies that track and disclose their greenhouse gas emissions.

October 2011 - Nathan Thompson was presented a Certificate of Appreciation by Ms. Joyce Bowie the Director of Acquisition Management Division, Farm Service Agency at the Department of Agriculture for his outstanding service throughout the year and during the end of fiscal year close.

August 31, 2011 - AEEC and ITStrat's Joint Venture was awarded a GSA 8(a) STARS II Government Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC). This GWAC provides flexible access to customized IT solutions. With a $10 billion program ceiling and a five-year base period with one five-year option, 8(a) STARS II allows for long-term planning of large-scale program requirements while strengthening opportunities for 8(a) small businesses.

August 10, 2011 - AEEC was awarded a work release under our Master Services Agreement with a Confidential Energy, Oil & Gas Sector Client. AEEC will be conducting an analysis of a treatment system to identify areas for optimization and cost savings.

April 01, 2011 - AEEC was awarded a 2-year Task Order for Basewide Monitoring and Operations and Maintenance Services for Hill AFB, Utah under EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc's AFCEE ECOS09 Contract. Under EA, AEEC will be providing services for the required monitoring and operational reports for compliance with applicable Federal Facility Agreements (FFAs) and Records of Decision (RODs) for Hill Air Force Base restoration sites. AEEC is responsible for all monitoring and system operation compliance with applicable FFA and RODs, which consists of data gathering required to prepare the required reports. Our scope of work includes:
          •     Monitoring and measurement requirements for Operable Units (OUs) 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12
          •     Effluent discharge compliance monitoring IAW permits and agreements
          •     UST monitoring
          •     Operate, maintain, and conduct ongoing optimization tests for existing systems and landfill caps

May 24, 2011 - AEEC was awarded the Woman Owned Business Contractor of the Year Award by the US Department of Agriculture's Division of Departmental Management for our technology and business process related consulting services related to the Integrated Acquisition System (IAS) program.

May 19, 2011 - AEEC was awarded the Woman Owned Business Contractor of the Year Award by the US Department of Agriculture's Agricultural Research Services (ARS) agency for our technology and business process related consulting services related to the Integrated Acquisition System (IAS) program.

May 17, 2011 - AEEC is recipient of the Small Business Administrator's Award of Excellence. Honorary Secretary Karen G. Mills, the SBA Administrator presented this award to AEEC.

April 25, 2011 - Mr. Christian Madsen has joined AEEC as our Director of Business Development. Prior to joining AEEC, Mr. Madsen was CEO of Trufina, Inc., an online Professional License Verification Services Firm. He was also a partner at Milestone Equity and a co-founder of Brightmail, Inc. based in San Francisco, CA. Chris has a BS degree in Computer Science and Cognitive Psychology from the University of California.

April 22, 2011 - The Department of Treasury extended AEEC's Mentor-Protege agreement with IBM Corporation for an additional year through March 31, 2012.

April 2011 - AEEC was awarded an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) GSA IT-70 Contract, GS-35F-0331X. It allows AEEC to offer a comprehensive array of IT products, services, and solutions. IT Schedule 70 is the largest procurement vehicle and the most widely used acquisition offering in the federal government.

February 2011 - AEEC was awarded a 5-year task order for Database Management and Program Support for the Environmental Protection Agency Superfund Division - Region 5 based in Chicago, Illinois. This task order was awarded under IBM's GSA Alliant Contract. AEEC will be offering services for the support of Information Technology (IT) and Information Management requirements within the Superfund Division (SFD), U.S. EPA Region 5 in the areas of Information Technology, Information Management, Program Analysis and Strategic Organizational Development. Our scope of work includes: develop and maintain application software/reports, as needed, provide assistance and support for current and future application software through data entry, data analysis, document creation, training and data conversion, provide assistance and support for application software integration efforts, as needed, and provide assistance through program/budget analysis for SFD Region 5.

January 2011 - AEEC was selected as a finalist in the Small Business Administrator (SBA) Region III competition for the 2011 Small Business Subcontractor of the Year Award. Region III covers the states of Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania and District of Columbia. Region III's nomination for the national winner will be forwarded to SBA's headquarters in Washington. D.C. where a judging will be held during February 2011. IBM Corporation nominated AEEC for this award for consistent delivery of exemplary, innovative, and high quality technology integration service offerings on multiple Federal Government contract task orders. AEEC is one of IBM's major subcontractors and a business partner on various IT contracts at the Department of Homeland Security, Department of Defense, Department of Treasury, and General Services Administration.

On October 21, 2010, AEEC was ranked on the Deloitte Technology Fast 500™. Technology Fast 500™ is the pre-eminent technology awards program in North America with 2010 being its sixteenth anniversary. Over the past 5 years, AEEC grew 352 percent and ranks No. 17 in the overall Washington Metropolitan area in the survey; moving up from its inaugural appearance on the prestigious list last year.

On August 24, 2010, Inc. magazine unveiled its fourth annual exclusive list of America‘s fastest-growing private companies—the Inc. 5000. AEEC was Ranked No. 992 on the 2010 Inc. 5000 with Three Years Sales Growth of 301%.

July 18, 2010 - AEEC held its first customized procurement systems training class for USDA. AEEC developed customized training materials based on user requirements to optimize use of the software solution. To date AEEC has trained over 177 USDA users in both Iprocurement and PRISM.

July 2010 - AEEC is engaged with the Department of Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) organization to analyze and document its requirements relative to a Knowledge Center solution. Our current contract provides for a Requirements Analysis, Gap Analysis, Data Model, and Solution Proposal. The solution proposal will detail the Knowledge Center architecture and infrastructure and a roadmap for implementation of this solution. The project is contracted under AEEC‘s GSA 8(a) STARS contract and is being performed with our subcontractor IBM.

On December 2, 2009, AEEC and IBM were jointly recognized at the Department of Treasury's Annual Small Business Awards Ceremony as the 2009 Mentor-Protégé Team of the Year. The award recognizes the success of the AEEC-IBM team in growing AEEC's business results, business maturity, and technical capabilities. In 2009, AEEC continued to achieve significant revenue growth and expand its contract portfolio, while enhancing its business processes and technical and engagement management capabilities. IBM and AEEC were presented the award by Teresa Lewis, Director, Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, and The Honorable Rosie Rios, Treasurer of the United States.

On April 29, 2009, AEEC and IBM were awarded the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Mentor-Protégé Team of the Year Award for 2008.

On March 4, 2009, AEEC and IBM were awarded a 2009 U.S. Department of Defense Mentor-Protégé Program Nunn-Perry Award in recognition of our Mentor-Protégé relationship under the U.S. Department of the Army.

On October 1, 2008, AEEC was awarded a contract under our GSA 8(a) STARS GWAC for the Operations and Maintenance of the entire technical structure for the USDA Integrated Acquisition System (IAS) including program management, requirements and release management, systems operations and maintenance, customer care, configuration management, support of new releases, and system integration.
