On August 24, 2010, Inc. magazine unveiled its fourth annual exclusive list of America‘s fastest-growing private companies—the Inc. 5000. AEEC was Ranked No. 992 on the 2010 Inc. 5000 with Three Years Sales Growth of 301%.

July 2010 - AEEC is engaged with the Department of Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) organization to analyze and document its requirements relative to a Knowledge Center solution. Our current contract provides for a Requirements Analysis, Gap Analysis, Data Model, and Solution Proposal. The solution proposal will detail the Knowledge Center architecture and infrastructure and a roadmap for implementation of this solution. The project is contracted under AEEC‘s GSA 8(a) STARS contract and is being performed with our subcontractor IBM.

On December 2, 2009, AEEC and IBM were jointly recognized at the Department of Treasury's Annual Small Business Awards Ceremony as the 2009 Mentor-Protégé Team of the Year. The award recognizes the success of the AEEC-IBM team in growing AEEC's business results, business maturity, and technical capabilities. In 2009, AEEC continued to achieve significant revenue growth and expand its contract portfolio, while enhancing its business processes and technical and engagement management capabilities. IBM and AEEC were presented the award by Teresa Lewis, Director, Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, and The Honorable Rosie Rios, Treasurer of the United States.

On October 20, 2009, AEEC was ranked on the Deloitte Technology Fast 500™. Technology Fast 500™ recognizes innovative companies that have broken down barriers to success and defied the odds with their remarkable five year revenue growth. Over the past 5 years, AEEC grew 212 percent.

On April 29, 2009, AEEC and IBM were awarded the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Mentor-Protégé Team of the Year Award for 2008.

On March 4, 2009, AEEC and IBM were awarded a 2009 U.S. Department of Defense Mentor-Protégé Program Nunn-Perry Award in recognition of our Mentor-Protégé relationship under the U.S. Department of the Army.

On October 1, 2008, AEEC was awarded a contract under our GSA 8(a) STARS GWAC for the Operations and Maintenance of the entire technical structure for the USDA Integrated Acquisition System (IAS) including program management, requirements and release management, systems operations and maintenance, customer care, configuration management, support of new releases, and system integration.

AEEC is a team member of IBM's recently awarded U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service Solutions Architect Contract. The Scope and Core Functional Areas of the contract encompasses all labor, hardware, software, supplies, services, and associated equipment to produce outcomes in the Statement of Objectives. Core Functional Tasks include Program and Technical Management, Architecture and Systems Engineering, Integrated Operational Environment (IOE) Definition, Design, Development, and Implementation Testing, Ongoing Delivery of Managed Services, Organizational Change and Training, Enhancements, and Operations and Maintenance.

AEEC is a team member of IBM's recently awarded GSA Alliant GWAC. GSA Alliant is a 10 Year IDIQ/GWAC for Computer System Design Services with a $50 Billion ceiling. GSA Alliant provides access to current technologies and services to satisfy Federal Customer's evolving needs.

AEEC has been awarded a significant Records Management contract with the Department of Interior, using the GSA 8(a) STARS contracting vehicle. The award is for one year with two option years. The scope of the project includes establishing requirements with the records/documents end user community across DOI, piloting multiple COTS Records Management Products, and determining/recommending the appropriate Records Management/Document Management solution.

AEEC has been awarded a contract with the Department of Transportation to provide ongoing support for the TranStats Database. The TranStats Database provides transportation data to the DOT for analysis by Federal and State policy makers.

AEEC was selected for GSA's Information Technology Industry Government Technology Council (ITIGC) for a 3-year term. Mr. Raj Patil, CEO will be representing AEEC as a Council Member.

AEEC and ESRI made a joint presentation to IBM's Department of Homeland Security Management Team for use of potential innovative GIS technology for U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

AEEC was awarded a 3-year contract by the Department of Interior for an e-Records Management project.

AEEC was awarded a contract by the Internal Revenue Service for the BRRM (Business Rules and Requirements Management) Program. IBM Corporation is working as AEEC's subcontractor for this long term engagement.

IBM Corporation awarded a Task Order Contract to AEEC under ITES-2S to provide support for Global Command and Control System (GCCS) to the Director, C4I, The Joint Interagency Taskforce (JIATF) South, and Chief of Information Systems located in Key West, Florida.
