Subject Matter Expert
We are currently seeking a Subject Matter Expert to support our Federal Customer at the customer’s location in Washington, DC
Job Duties/Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
The SME will perform the following tasks within the contract: Perform fit-gap analysis; Perform requirements analysis / traceability; Design and develop complex solutions; Perform rigorous testing and defect resolution; perform validation for code release; Troubleshoot and assess critical systemic issues and interfaces and other similar duties in an Oracle federal financials environment with mixed systems. Develop, document, execute and resolve defects for unit test cases. Support system integration test (IT), user acceptance testing (UAT) and regression testing (RT). This includes working with the DBA’s and other technical and functional experts to migrate the changes to the test instances and resolving test defects. Extensive experience supporting the full end-to-end process of change management including; Provide technical and functional documentation, documenting justification for changes and supporting the change request on calls and in meetings, performing impact analysis on change requests, assessing the effectiveness of changes on the production environment and other functional and technical components of the process. Provide post deployment stabilization support for changes released to the Oracle Federal Financial production instance. Complies with approved SDLC processes and is responsible for all related SDLC artifacts. Knowledge and experience with the HHS EPLC (Enterprise Performance Life Cycle) is a plus. Preferred experience implementing and providing operational support to the any of the following in Oracle Federal Financials: general ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Purchasing (PO), Federal Administrator for budget execution (BE), Fixed Assets (FA) and the functions and applications within Oracle Federal Financials. Experience with Oracle Hyperion Planning Management and the Enterprise Planning Suite (18.104.22.168 or higher) including; design, development, implementation, interfaces and other facets of the product in a federal installation. Past experience with operations maintenance and support of the application in commercial and federal implementations. Expertise with applications in the Oracle EPM such as; client applications, Hyperion application services, Essbase, performance management services, financial reporting, Oracle Data Integrator, RDBMS Database, interfacing and data transfers and other components and applications. Experience with e-invoicing, g-invoicing, RPA is a plus. Working knowledge of PRISM (7.4) support to troubleshoot issues and support PRISM user base. Working knowledge of Qlik to support dashboard development. Working knowledge and experience in FBIS and ANSWERS to support FBIS (Oracle OBIE reporting tool used within HHS).
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Must have a bachelor’s degree relative to computer science, information systems, information systems management, computer programming or a degree with extensive course work in computers. Minimum of 7 years progressive experience working with Oracle Federal Financials and/or providing other relevant information technology support. Past experience researching, analyzing and troubleshooting RICEW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancement/Extensions, Workflow) objects in an Oracle Federal Financials or similar environment (Reports, Interfaces, Conversion, Enhancements and Worklfows) and translating customer requirements into a best fit solution within the application. Experience developing processes and documentation that support the systems development life cycle (SDLC). Candidate should be highly skilled in Oracle development tools such as; PL/SQL, Workflow, Oracle Reports and XML Publisher with progressive learning of new tools and applications.
