We are currently seeking an Application Developer to support our Federal Customer at the customer’s location in Fairfax, VA.
Job Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Experienced in software development fundamentals and assets
- 5+ Years experience in related software application development
- Ability to develop and debug software applications without supervision
Design, develop, enhance, debug, implement, enhance, evaluate and recommend software; create software manuals/reports, trouble-shoot/recommend solutions/resolve-problems with software applications. Research, test, build, coordinate the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements. Address systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms problems. Consult with stakeholders to identify application requirements. Evaluate/recommend application integration/testing tools. Act as team leader on projects Perform project feasibility analysis to management. Instruct, assign, direct, and check the development team’s work.
Physical Demands: While performing duties of the job, incumbent is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus.
Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
