AEEC Innovation Lab (iLab):
The iLab was created in 2015 as a “sandbox” for developing and launching innovative technologies spanning the emerging technology ecosystem – from cloud and big data to cybersecurity and mobile applications. It enables government and commercial organizations to experiment, develop prototypes and test proofs of concept (PoCs), with less cost, less risk and immediate return on investment (ROI). It provides a vendor-neutral environment to develop prototypes, conduct demos, discover new technologies, increase capacity, lower costs, and improve performance and processes. The iLab is a bridge between imagination and implementation and enables public and private sector organizations to develop solutions using our iLab team staffed with top performing personnel who are trained in emerging technologies and experienced providing solutions to our customers. Unlike most innovation or incubator centers, the iLab was designed to solve practical client driven solutions that have an immediate ROI and impact, innovation that saves times and saves money for our clients. The iLab incorporates all of the technology experts, expertise and tools to solve the most pressing client issues. We measure the ROI of an innovation by tracking, analyzing and quantifying the decreased cost and/or time to perform a task or tasks and any increased revenue or other measures of desired outcomes for a client depending on the key performance indicators (KPIs) determined in conjunction with the client.
