IT Program Manager
Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects. Takes projects from original concept through final implementation. Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, computer services, and client services. Defines project scope and objectives. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables. Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables. Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team. Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems. PMP, PMI, and ITIL certifications are valued.
IT Specialists
AEEC is seeking IT resources to support activities associated with network engineering, database management, information security, quality assurance, software engineering, systems administration, and systems engineering. Strong verbal, written communication skills and standard computer skills are mandatory. Candidate can expect wide variety of work which will include an intense initial learning curve under the supervision and mentoring of highly qualified staff. Some travel could be required. Previous work experience with websphere, documentum, oracle, prism, cisco, tivoli, java, j2ee, .net, sql, rational, linux, unix, aix, and html is highly valued.
Staff/Field Engineer
AEEC is seeking an entry to mid-level field engineer (any discipline) to support activities associated with subsurface soil and groundwater remediation (design, operation, optimization, sampling, modeling, data compilation, data analysis, data presentation; reporting). Work is also related to air and wastewater treatment process engineering (air strippers, oil water separators, dissolved air flotation, flocculation, carbon absorption, process piping design, air flow measurements, blower specifications, pump specifications. Hydraulic concepts (friction loss, pump curves, blower curves, npsh, etc) are heavily emphasized. Strong verbal, written communication skills and standard computer skills are mandatory. Candidate can expect wide variety of work which will include an intense initial learning curve under the supervision and mentoring of highly qualified engineering staff and operational staff. Some travel will be required. The work will emphasize an initial involvement with field activities followed by a gradual phasing into office engineering and management environment as skills are developed. Field activities will emphasize contractor oversight, data collection, system troubleshooting, PLC interaction, system operation, system repair, and general system maintenance. Office activities will be in support of the engineering group for process engineering and reporting. Previous hands-on work experience related to anything mechanical (construction, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, farming, automotive, etc) is valued.
