AEEC Hosting Kerberos Brown Bag for USPTO

The AEEC Innovation Lab will host a brown bag on Wednesday, April 6th from 12pm-1pm on Kerberos Authentication and Interoperability at USPTO. Todd Heron, AEEC’s Kerberos Engineer will discuss how standard operating systems such as Microsoft and Linux, and various Middleware and web applications, such as Apache, Tomcat, JBOSS and WebSphere, use the Kerberos protocol to take advantage of secure single sign-on and centralized authentication with Microsoft Active Directory. He will explain a brief history of Kerberos from past to present, encryption schemes used at USPTO, and the process by which the Platform Services Branch requests Kerberos solutions on behalf of AIS Development teams.
